well the final will be between two "claynations" i think. I hope Argentina will beat Russia. Too bad the tie between Spain and USA is played on clay. If this had been on hardcourt, it could have been really close and exciting but now it's a complete walkover for Spain.

Karen, you are correct with the idea that the final will most likely feature two countries that enjoy playing on red clay.

James Blake and Bob Bryan withdrawing from this week's semifinals match against Spain in Madrid, doesn't help the USA, who is already known to struggle on the red clay.

Since Juan Martin Del Potro has been playing really good these last couple months and David Nalbandian usually playing strong tennis during Davis Cup matches, as well as a home court advantage for the Argentines, expect them to advance to meet Spain in the final later this year.
